Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By engaging FirstWeb (operated by CozyHub, "FirstWeb", "we", "us") to design, build, host or maintain a website, or by using the FirstWeb client dashboard, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

FirstWeb designs, builds, hosts and maintains a website for your business, connects it to Google, and lets you request self-service text and AI-assisted edits afterwards. The current base package ("FirstWeb Starter") and its inclusions, exclusions and pricing are described on our Pricing page, which forms part of this agreement for your order. Pricing shown on our website is introductory and may change for future orders or renewals; any change will be communicated before it applies to you.

3. Domain ownership

You are the legal registrant and owner of your domain.FirstWeb acts only as your technical or administrative service provider — helping you register, connect, or manage the domain on your behalf. Where a domain registrar's rules allow it, we register or list the domain in your name as the beneficial owner. If we hold administrative access to make setup easier, we will transfer or share login credentials on request, including when you cancel the service.

4. Content ownership and licensing

You retain ownership of the content you provide us — your business information, text, images, logo and branding — and of the specific final content published on your website. You grant FirstWeb a limited licence to host, reproduce, adapt and display that content, including through our AI editing tools, solely to provide the service to you. Template layouts, design components, underlying code and AI tooling that we provide remain the property of FirstWeb/CozyHub, licensed to you for use on your hosted site for as long as your subscription is active.

5. AI-assisted editing and fair use

Once your site is live, you get unlimited self-service text and AI edits under fair use. Fair use means the volume and nature of edit requests a single business would normally make to keep its own one-page website current — it doesn't cover automated, scripted or bulk requests, or using your account to edit or generate content for other businesses or on behalf of third parties. If usage looks clearly abnormal, we may reach out before continuing to process further requests.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

AI tools can occasionally produce text or images that are inaccurate, out of date, or not quite what you intended. You're responsible for reviewing any AI-assisted change before it goes live, and for the accuracy of content you choose to publish. FirstWeb is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or unsuitable AI-generated content that you approved or published.

7. Service-level and support terms

We provide support by email and WhatsApp during normal business hours in Sri Lanka. We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep your site online and to respond to support and edit requests promptly, but unless we've agreed a specific service-level agreement with you in writing, we don't guarantee a fixed uptime percentage or response time. We'll give notice where practical before planned maintenance that may affect your site.

8. Fees and payment

The Starter package is billed annually. Work beyond the base package — additional pages, online payments or e-commerce, appointment/booking systems, advanced integrations, custom software, multilingual content, professional photography, or other custom requests — is quoted and billed separately before we begin. Applicable taxes are added where required.

9. Cancellation policy

You may cancel at any time by emailing firstweb@cozyhub.lk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and hosting and AI-editing access end at that point. Your domain remains yours (see Section 3) and you're free to point it elsewhere. We'll provide reasonable assistance to export your content on request.

10. Refund policy

If you cancel before we begin building your site, you'll receive a full refund. Once your site has been built and published, fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we're unable to deliver the service due to a failure on our part. Renewal fees are non-refundable once a new annual period has started and the site remains live.

11. Acceptable use policy

You agree not to use FirstWeb to publish or host content that:

• Is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights;
• Contains malware or is intended to harm or exploit visitors or systems;
• Violates Google's policies for Search Console, Analytics, or Business Profile, given your site is connected to these services;
• Is otherwise unlawful in Sri Lanka or in territories where your business operates.

We may suspend or terminate the service for a clear breach of this policy.

12. Data deletion and account closure

When your account closes — by cancellation or otherwise — we follow the data deletion process described in our Privacy Policy: your site is taken offline and associated personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records by law.

13. FirstWeb platform and intellectual property

The FirstWeb editing dashboard, AI tooling, and underlying software platform are owned by CozyHub. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the platform itself to you — only of your own content and domain, as described above.

14. Limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, FirstWeb is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify FirstWeb against claims arising from content you provide us to publish, or from your breach of these terms or applicable law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; we'll update the "last updated" date above and notify active customers of material changes by email.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
