1. Who we are

FirstWeb ("FirstWeb", "we", "us", "our") is a managed website service operated by CozyHub, based in Sri Lanka. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the FirstWeb marketing website, client dashboard, and related communications (email, WhatsApp). 2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers information we collect about you as a FirstWeb customer or prospective customer. It does not cover the individual websites we build and host for our customers — those sites belong to the customer, and any data a customer collects through their own enquiry forms or analytics is governed by that business's own privacy practices, not this policy.

3. Information we collect

• Contact and account information — your name, business name, email address and phone/WhatsApp number when you enquire, sign up, or contact support.
• Business content — the text, images, logo and other assets you provide for your website, and instructions you give our AI editing tools.
• Authentication data — when you sign in with Google (via Firebase Authentication), we receive your email address and basic Google profile information.
• Usage and technical data — standard web and hosting logs such as pages visited, browser and device type, and IP address.
• Communications — records of emails, WhatsApp messages and support requests you send us.

4. How we use your information

• To design, build, host and maintain your website and process your AI-assisted edit requests.
• To connect your website to Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and to help set up or improve your Google Business Profile.
• To communicate with you about your account, orders, invoices and support requests.
• To operate, secure and improve the FirstWeb service.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that let us deliver FirstWeb, including Google (Firebase Hosting, Authentication and Firestore, Search Console, Analytics, and Business Profile), our email provider, and WhatsApp/Meta for messaging you contact us through. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law.

6. Cookies and analytics

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax and accounting purposes. After that, we delete or anonymise it, except where we're required to retain it for longer by law.

8. Data deletion and account closure

You can request deletion of your account and personal data, or ask us to close your account, at any time by emailing firstweb@cozyhub.lk. Once we've verified your request and confirmed any domain-ownership or handover steps, we will take your site offline and delete the associated personal data from our systems within 30 days, except for information we're legally required to keep (for example, billing records). This process is also described in our Terms of Service.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at firstweb@cozyhub.lk.

10. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including SSL encryption and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International data transfers

We rely on Google Cloud/Firebase infrastructure to host and process data, which may store or process information on servers located outside Sri Lanka.

12. Children's privacy

FirstWeb is a business service and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email.
